(2003) Right after the torrential down pour we went outside for a walk. Low and behold three red efts right outside the door.

2 3  (2003) Hiked Coon Mountain near Westport. Awesome vairety of wildflowers blooming now in the Champlain Valley. Hepatica, spring beauty, dutchamn's breeches, purple trillium, and blue cohash.

4  (2003) The wood frog eggs have hatched! Tens of thousands of tiny tadpoles!

(2003) First hatch of spring azures today. Look for the pale blue, small butterflies with an erratic flight that is close to the ground
